It's like using acid to brush your teeth. I've always used Colgate products, but I regret ever touching this one. After the first use, my mouth hurt, especially my gums. I went to bed in pain and woke up to find blisters all over my gums. It was four days before I could eat anything even remotely solid, or brush my teeth. My dentist said he had several other patients who suffered similar injuries from Optic White. I basically had chemical burns inside my mouth. The taste buds were burnt off my tongue, and I had tissue damage on my gums and the roof of my mouth. I found HUNDREDS of stories similar to mine online. This product should not be on the market.

Its okay but i prefer other whitening toothpastes

It works okay. I really didn't see a dramatic change as far as the whiteness in my teeth. But, it makes my mouth feel very clean and refreshed.

Not For Me I have to start off by saying that I am not a big fan of "whitening" toothpastes. I feel there are better ways to whiten your teeth. When I received a complimentary sample of Colgate Optic White Radiant Toothpaste in a Playa Vox Box, I was hesitant to try it but did so in order to provide an honest review. First of all the packaging is as as radiant as the product promises your teeth will be which is a nice touch. The scent is a strong minty scent that lives up to it's name "Icy Mint" and the flavor is even stronger, leaving you with a strong fresh breath feeling when you're done brushing which is a positive. A negative for me was the way that this toothpaste felt on my teeth. Personally, it just felt tingly and strange but I guess that may just be the product doing it's job and whitening my teeth. I honestly didn't continue use after the one time I sampled it. So I can't comment on if it whitens your teeth or not. As for the price, it seems too high for me considering I think there are better Colgate products on the market that I prefer over Colgate Optic White Radiant. With all this said, I think this product just isn't for me but I am grateful to have had the opportunity to try before I buy.

I didn't like this. It did start to whiten my teeth somewhat, but it only seemed to whiten in patches which made my teeth look a little funny. I also didn't like the texture or the taste of the paste. I prefer the whitening strips just because I know that the results are going to come out even and because I only have to deal with that for 2 hours instead of each and every day.

I wasn't amazed but it does have a nice taste unlike other whitening toothpastes. I noticed a little difference but not that impressive. The main ingredient is hydrogen peroxide(used in whitening strips) which is why I'm surprised it didn't do much.

Works well After using this for about 5 days I noticed my teeth looked whiter. I don't like the taste it leaves in my mouth, but it works.

Didn't really see a difference. Have used lots of whitening products and I found this the same as others. Packaging is eye catching and so is name. Usually love stuff by this brand and may continue use but it's not as effective at whitening as it states

It did work for a while after smoking for over 8 years I recently just quit. I guess smoking will contribute to tooth decay. At first this product did work very well for whiting. But after a few months I started to notice white deposits on one of my teeth indicating tooth decay. I have read that since it contains the same ingredient as whiting strips it takes some wear on the enamel coating protecting your teeth from decay. Anyhow, works great for whiting. If your enamel is strong enough I suppose this product won't have any bad consequence on your teeth or oral health.

I liked this toothpaste, but I like the Crest one better, but it worked really well for me.

Love Colgate but did not see a big change after a month of use.

The tooth paste is decent. But i didn't notice any whitening effects from the tooth paste.

Works good! Makes your teeth white, but I'm not sure how good it is for your enamel
