The crossing was not at all what I expected?and I mean that in a good way! Being a fictional novel, I assumed there would be a pretty wrap up at the conclusion, perhaps some cheesiness. I was wrong. The story takes a lot of twists and turns. Basically a ?who dun it?, the characters are trying to solve an old murder mystery. I was surprised at the conclusion. I suspected the villain, but only for a short time, and I love that about the story. The story had a darker feel to it than I had expected as well. This book held my rapt attention and I read it in two days because I didn't want to put it down.
