It is a bit pricey for ultimately ending up with a stuffed animal, but the whole process of creating and customizing it and seeing the "birth" of a new friend is definitely a special treat that a child should experience at least once. I like how there are special editions for certain holidays, seasons, etc.

This is a totally cute idea and great for letting your child create their own "perfect" friend. I love how many options they have to dress them up and that there are constantly new friends to be made. The only draw back is how much it cost. If everything was cheaper I would totally rate it five starts.

It's great to make your own stuffed bear no matter how old you are. I think the animals themselves are reasonably priced. However, the clothes and accessories add a lot to the price. The last bear my daughter-in-law made for my grandson ended up costing $50 - a bit expensive for a stuffed animal

My daughter is hooked. She went for a friend's birthday and had a lot of fun. She chose a bear, outfit and shoes and we paid the difference. She is carrying with her everywhere. I told her that if she wanted to do it again then she would need to save her money. I don't mind treating her but the prices are so high that it makes it tough to get everything she wants for her bear but we thought this would be a great way to do it. I recommend to a friend if they are ready to treat their child it is a fun experience.

Great concept, but outrageously expensive! I love this place for little parties and creating a memorable stuffed animal, but the prices are ridiculous for a stuffed animal. To think that you pay less for an already assembled animal and now you are creating it and being charged 4 times the amount. The outfits are darling and the variety of animals are a plus.

My daughter loves this place, but I find it to be a bit pricey. I use this as a special treat.

expensive but the concept is super cute and fun!!! my best friend and I went in and made one for my son when I was pregnant, lots of fun ideas and cute clothes!!

Wonderful place to take the kids but can be pricey

I love build a bear. Everytime I've gone with my kids the staff is so nice and helpful. My kids love it and the quality of the stuffed animals I think are very good. The quality of the accessories are also very good. I think it's worth investing in at least one for ever kid to experience it. I would have loved it as a kid.

Love Build a Bear but it's just so pricy that it can only be a special occasion. The animals are really great quality though and so many accessories to choose from... but then that means you spend a fortune on a stuffed animal.

I took my 3yo daughter here after her first dentist visit since she did such a good job & didn't cry or fight. She loved it & I loved it. They made the experience of creating her new friend a fun one. She created a palace pet cat. I'm trying to convince my husband to let us go back to create the bunny. It is really expensive though, which makes it only good for special occasions.

a bit expensive

I got this for a reward for my daughter of 5 she was got tests back that showed her at a second grade level. She is big on controlling every aspect of everything she does and has so this was the perfect gift for her. She loved it and still does more then anything else she ownes

My girls love build a bear workshop we've got quite a few of the animals and they hold up well to the normal uses of the kids. I even have one from when I was younger that the girls now have! We have also gone there for birthday parties before and its always been a great experience! The only downfall is sometimes their prices are kinda high I feel like you can't just buy the animal you have to get the accessories and it can get expensive! But its still a lot of fun!

My daughter love it... She is now 12 but she still have her Build- a -bears. she got her 1st one when she was about 4 or 5 years old, her collection grow up to 5. They can be a little expensive but I think all child should have a list one from there own creation.
