I definitely didn't expect to love this book as much as I do. C'mon, it's written by a Real Housewife, how good could it be? Turns out, VERY good. Skinny Italian is filled with easy, comforting recipes that won't make you bust out of your skinny jeans. The recipes range from quick and fairly simple to more time-consuming meals, including sections dedicated to more romantic recipes and those that are perfect for when you're really trying to lighten up. The book also includes sections on key ingredients and spices and how to use them and how to make your own sauce and pizza dough. This has quickly become the most-used book in our kitchen; my Sicilian husband loves it when I cook from this!
