There is every skill level in here from basic loaf cakes and cookies to recipes involving meringue and custard and a bit more fussiness. Nigella's chocolate cakes are our absolute favorites. Her apple walnut cake is a fall tradition for me. This is the one cookbook we come back to time after time.
