I had been thinking about trying this service for years but never got around to it. Now, I don't think I will ever step foot in a grocery store again. The entire process including placing my order, having it delivered and putting it away took less than 15 minutes. I placed an order at the beginning of the week and continually added to it until the day before my scheduled delivery . My order arrived on time and they carried up the flight of stairs to my kitchen (that made it worth it right there). Most items were priced comparable to the store and I was able to shop through my local store's circular so I felt pricing was fine. I can see that some items may be slightly more expensive than in-store, but I feel that in the long run I will spend less because there were no spontaneous in store purchases or children throwing items in my cart. I am definitely hooked after one try.

It's such a relief to have Peapod as an adjunct to in store shopping. With medical issues at home, I'm unable to get to the store. Fantastic ordering website -very well designed and easy to navigate. Orders are generally complete and substitutions appropriate. Pleasant and skilled delivery staff rounds out a fine shopping experience.
