Great toy, can be customized to say things your child enjoys, overall easy to set up and no issues. But, my daughter wasn't very interested. Maybe have a bilingual alternative, we mainly speak Spanish at home so being able to set up Scout to speak Spanish would be wonderful!

Great but overtime functions fail The puppy was awesome for 2 years but then something in it's computer function is not working and it repeats its self a lot and says the opposite of what it is supposed to for each hand .

I purchased this for my niece on her 1st birthday. She loves it. Perfect size for her little hands. It keeps her entertained for hours, only problem is cleaning it.

My friend's 2 year old son got this for Christmas last year and he loves it. He calls it his baby!

Leap Frog toys are simply amazing. I received a Scout pal about two years a as a gift and it is now a baby shower/ birthday present must. Since getting our first Scout, I have purchased 9 more for friends, family and my second son. I love that the toy can be personalized and updated as the child grows. Scout has been responsible for teaching my son to spell his name through the personalized song since he was 1 year old! Thanks Leap frog!

My daughter received this as a gift when she was 4 months old. She didn't pay much attention to it at first, but now that she is 18 months, she does show interest in it. What I LOVE about this is that I was able to program her name to it so that when it "talks" to her..it says her name. She just looks at it..like how do you know my name. hee hee. I also like all the customization you can do with it. There were quite a few songs you can choose for it to play etc. My daughter likes to play the music portion of it and dance. Too fun! I would definitely give this as a gift!

My 3 year old & 1 year old boys both own a Scout. They love that it says their names. I like that you can select a good amount of songs. Any Mom knows a musical toy can get old when you hear the same song over & over.

my son got 2 of these for his first birthday lol. I liked it the only thing im not sure how to clean it and we have had it for a year now and it could use a cleaning but its a cute toy. it was my sons favorite for a wile.

Love!! This toys will sing so many song and we love to sing all of them. My daughter will play with the dog over and over again.

My son received Scout for his first birthday this year. I loved that we were able to personalize him with our son's favorite color, food, animal, etc. He loves that Scout says his name and sings him songs. Very cute!

All four of my children had one of these. They make excellent crib mates as a baby grows. Can sometimes be rather annoying with limited songs and sayings.

Love Love Love! Absolutely endless entertainment and dancing at our house thanks to Scout. My son loves to sing along and dance with Scout and he never tires of the songs becomes I can change them with ease. Amazingly, my son's name was listed in the databse so we were thrilled!

My daughter received this toy from her aunt and she adores it. We have the "violet" girl version and she loves to hug it and press the lullaby for sleep time. The reason that I only give it four stars is that while it is fun for her, it is quite hard to keep it clean since it cannot be washed, just spot cleaned. Other than that, I highly recommend this toy from LeapFrog for any child from 12-24 months.

My grandson has this. I love how you can customize it but wish there were more options when doing this. It is easy for a 1 1/2 year old to play and press buttons.
