I also made the mistake of watching this movie that is rated PG-13 (should have been rated r) the bad mouthing and obscenities were uncalled for. Overall I think the movie theme is very idiotic, I don't recommend it to anyone, unless they want to watch a pointless movie and waste money and time.

Although visually appealing the movie lack an in depth plot

My husband and I went with his family (with their 12 and 14 yr old kids) to see Transformers 2 last week. We saw the first one and thought it would a fun movie for the kids to see, but, we were disappointed. This time around, they included two clown car robots who were really foul-mouthed, and even the other robots and others cussed quite a bit. The obscenities were needless; the movie would have been much more enjoyable without them. Additionally, there was a lot of skin shown by Wickwickies' girl friend, a great role-model for a 12 yr old girl. Maybe I was mistaken for thinking it was okay for younger teens...I will definitely look a little bit closer at the next movie I take them to.

Good action scenes and it was nice to see this brought to live action. I liked the cartoon as a kid and couldn't wait to see this. I lived up to my expectations and was a fun night with my kids.

I agree that the second movie was more crude this time around, but I still loved it. The crude humor was hilarious and gave transformers another side. The soundtrack remained stunning and the action was better. Still a good movie, but viewer discretion is recommended.

I liked the movie, but I thought the story line wasn't as good as the first. Plus, at the epic robot fight scenes, there was so much CGI that it was almost too much to look at. Plus the ending was kinda anti-climatic compared to the rest of the movie.

Like most transformers movies this one was the best in my opinion. Great for a action packed family night at home. The kids will love it and you can enjoy it too.
