Skipping hair Ive get better results with a single or a double bladed razor then these 5 blades, they skip hair, not a few hairs but a lot. My leg & armpit hair grows very slowly and when I do shave , once a month (its barely 1/8") and the 5 blades still skip and not cut everything

i actually didnt like this razor very much. i found the head of it to be really bulky, and the moisturizing strips dried out really quickly. the cushion thing dragged across my skin and didnt feel very nice. i much prefer the other venus razors with only 3 blades...5 just seems unnecessary!

I gave this product a 2. Only because I was one of the many women who shaved daily in order to keep smooth. I also have very sensitive skin so can you say razor bumps?! I no longer like shaving because all that happens is a snow ball effect. Now, there is a time or two when I simply do not have the time to epilate or wax and I wind up resorting to the quick and easy convenience of a razor. I would definitely put this in my top three to get but, it is just so expensive! Good razor, way over priced and you just wind up getting thicker, quicker growing hair over time.

It's ok for the first 3 uses. But after that it gives me razor rash. I have thick darker hair so I would not recommend it if your looking for more use out of it.

I am gonna try this razor. I just hate spending alot of money on razors!! But, if it works well and gives a good lasting close shave then its worth it! Cant wait to try it out!

it gets the job done & I like the look of it.

While Gillette's Venus razors are definitely a step above Schick's, there is one thing I really don't like about them: how wide the heads are. If you're shaving just legs, that's okay, however if you're trying to get into the underarm area it is so annoying - the extra head space makes for parts that you just can't reach! For this reason for many years I've only been using the men's versions.

Pretty effective razor! Easy to use, and yields smooth results! The refills are a bit pricey, but still a great razor I would recommend for a smooth shave!

With 3 females in my home we have tried about ever razor that is made. The Venus Embrace is an o.k. razor. It does leave a smooth shave. I don't like the handle because it just does not feel right in your hand. Maybe because how wide it is. I would also always drop this razor like it just slipped out of my hand. The refills are crazy expensive. For all three of us to keep using the razors we would be broke. I also just don't think it stays sharp long enough. It's not bad just not great.

Not a huge fan, I prefer the mach 3. It's ok.

I feel as though this razor dulls more quickly and dries out my skin more than others I have used.

I purchased the embrace and was not at all impressed. The shave was mediocore and the five blades felt dangerous on my knees. Venus original is much better.

I have been using Venus for several months now and have purchased refills. It hangs in place in our shower and I will continue to use.

Our daughter loves this razor. She lost it while on vacation was adamant that no other brand could substitute. My only qualm is the pricing, but she swears it is worth the money.

This is the razor I buy. It gives a close shave.
