Didn't seem to work for me. I use Tylenol Rapid Relief for my frequent migranes. Works much better than this.

Even a light migraine of mine would not be helped without some sort of caffeine. If they would like to market this product for headaches I think that might would be okay, although questionable, but for a migraine? Obviously they have not had a migraine. Advil migraine couldn't even knock out one of my annoying headaches. I only bother with my migraine medicine, taking phenergan for nausea 10 mins before it. But in a pinch if I'm without it Excedrin Migraine can get me through it if taken when I first feel it coming on. No point in taking the advil, for a migraine sufferer with nausea and vomiting like me it'll likely cause more problems than it's worth. It still amazes and annoys me that people call a headache a migraine and vice- versa. Example: "Oh, I have such a bad migraine", as you are sitting there working, talking on the phone, working on the computer. "Oh really, that's weird, when I have a migraine, I have to go home, turn off the lights drape myself over the toilet and pray that it doesn't kill me." They are nothing alike!

i personally prefer Excedrin. Love it. I actually have bad migraines, prescription drugs...the whole nine, but usually, if i take an excedrin as soon as i feel a headache, i wont get a full blown migraine.

Waste of time for clinical migraines. I'm on prescription abortive drug Dolgic Plus and it's a Godsend, but when I was out of Dolgic I tried Advil Migraine and some coffee.. No dice. Wound up in the hospital begging for the pain shot I have to get when the meds don't work. On a side note though, I've found that generally caffeine helps somewhat.

This product can't touch my migraines. I am surprised anyone with a real migraine can say it helps. Now, if it's not a migraine, if it's a standard headache or a sinus headache, sure. Maybe it can help some with minimal migraines due to the caffeine. But as far as I'm concerned, it's a waste for anyone hoping to relieve migraine pain. They'd do better to get some strong coffee or a vasoconstrictor like Relpax or Imitrex if they can and take whatever pain reliever works best for them, and hide in a darkened, silent room. I give it two stars for the ibuprofen, which helps a little if you catch it early.

I find Excedrin Migraine to work better than this does when I have an actual migraine, but when I feel like I'm GOING to get a Migraine, this works just fine to keep it from turning into one. The only problem is that I have to take it right away or it doesn't stop my headache pains.

I bought the Advil Migraine. I am afraid to use it. I have asthma. The only thing that will work for me is prescription drugs. These pills are over $35 a pill. So if the Advill works and it doesn't kill me, it would be wonderful.

Gosh...I have been on Topomax for 6yrs and on all those other Zomig, Maxalt,Midrin, Imitrax etc, they are all a joke in my opinion I wish they would come out witha miracle migraine medication but this actually works pretty good for me, now I have to take 2 and then take 2 more like 2 hours later but they do work, now if someone can tell me something that is a miracle that works please email me because I would love to try it, I am 37 had a hysterectomy when I was 27 and ever since then I have had migraines out the ying yang, but on a serious note really nothing has worked for me and I think I have tried everything...this just seems to help when in doubt.

I like it this product get for headaches.

It helps more with my back pain. I have scoliosis and take prescription pain meds but late evenings I use this or other otc pain relievers.

Sitting in the dark, I sit quietly, crying, praying for this pain to end. At times feeling as though I am dying, I try to refrain from screaming out. The throbbing is intensifying, the black outs are coming; nausea is wrecking havoc with my stomach. Praying the children will remain quite for just a little while, I sit and sweat, and cry sitting in my dark room. Welcome you have just taken a journey into my life with migraines. Being a mother, I though child birth would be the most painful thing I would ever experience, I can honestly tell you my migraines rank right up there with child birth. Many years now I have suffered from depilating migraines. At times I was unable to fully function, having to retreat to a dark, quite room to try and rid myself of my migraine. As with allot of folks, I have undergone several serious of test to try and find the source of my problems. Finally my doctor prescribed Imitrex to help with the pain. The only problem is Imitrex is highly addictive, therefore most doctors do not like to prescribe it in high quantities. My sister, who is also a lifelong sufferer of migraines, spent the weekend at my house last year. During our nice weekend together I started the low dull roar of a migraine coming on. Immediately my sister leaped into action and told me to take two her Advil Migraines. Now I had heard of the over the counter migraine medicines for a while, but thought it was just Advil with a new name. Within twenty minutes I felt remarkably better, the nausea was barely there, the throbbing was almost completely gone. The relief lasted the rest of the day without need for any other medications. A note here, Advil Migraine usually only takes away a headache completely if taken at the onset of the migraine Although doctors do not yet understand the exact cause of migraines, there are certain things that can trigger a migraine. Physiological, emotional and environmental factors can bring on a headache. They include: Stress Lack of sleep or fatigue Hormonal changes Missing a meal Changes in barometric pressure or altitude Dosage Information: According to label instructions take 2 tablets with a glass of water for adults, People under 18 years of age should consult a doctor. Also says do not take more than 2 tablets in 24 hours period unless directed by doctor. Active Ingredients: Solublized ibuprofen equal to 200 mg ibuprofen. (present as the free acid and potassium salt) nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Warnings: If you are allergic to ibuprofen you should not take, also ibuprofen can cause allergic reactions symptoms may include: *Hives *Facial swelling *Asthma *Shock *Skin Reddening *Rash *Blisters I personally had no side effects what so ever. certain foods can also be triggers, such as: Alcohol, particularly red wine Chocolate Food additives such as nitrates and nitrites Caffeine Not everyone will react to all of these triggers. You may react to one or none at all. The trick is finding out what your triggers are. Advil Migraine is a wonderful product to use at the first onset of a migraine. Before you use this product however make sure to read the manufactures warnings. Do not use: If you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/fever reducer. Ask a doctor before use if you have: never had migraines diagnosed by a health professional a headache that is different from your usual migraines the worst headache of your life fever and stiff neck headaches beginning after or caused by head injury, exertion, coughing or bending experienced your first headache after the age of 50 daily headaches a migraine so severe as to require bed rest problems or serious side effects from taking pain relievers or fever reducers stomach pain Advil Migraine worked wonderfully for me and lasted for approximently 12 hours before I could of used another dosage. It did not upset my stomach or cause me to get jittery like Excedrin Migraine tends to do. As with all medications is best that you speak with your doctor before taking any. This is a wonderful product if you able to catch a migraine before it gets too bad, if you take the Advil too late into your migraine, you will notice that it helps but does not stop the migraine. Update July 2006, I added dosage information, warnings and active ingredients in Advil Migraine.

This is about the only non-prescription I have used that actually works. I have MS and get frequent headaches, I don't like to take prescriptions for it but sometimes I have to. This works well for me.
