Thanks for the review. I'm in the market for a new sweeper.

I have had this model for almost 4 years. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 toddlers. It is a great vacuum and I have had no problems with the detachable canister or the filters. I've never had to change a belt or had a clog. My only complaint is that the hose is SHORT and every time I use it the vacuum falls over and smacks me on the back or on the head. This alone is the reason I chose to purchase a high end pet vacuum with a longer hose. 6 months after purchasing the new vacuum it started having problems and had to be sent for repair. Thank goodness for that 5 year warranty! I have had to take this Bissell out of storage and use it while my other vacuum is being repaired. Still works amazingly well considering the price, age, and abuse I dish out to it. I will say the difference in suction between this vacuum and my new one makes the new one worth spending the extra money on it and dealing with the hassle of having it repaired. Overall all the Bissell is a great vacuum for the price.
