hispanic macaroons

Makes: 0 25

Description: delicious cookies, easy to do it, great for parties and for holidays

Ingredients:
l cup,+ l tablespoon  lard
1cup  sugar
1/2 cup  granulated toasted almonds
1 teaspoon  vainilla
1 teaspoon  salt
2  cups unbleached all purpose flour

Instructions: put the almonds in the oven to toast them for 10 minutos, then granulated them in the food processor, mix the sugar and lard, add the flour, vanilla and salt, keep mixing with your hands , then make small balls and smash them an put into an ungreased cookie mold, leaving like one inch apart from each other put into a 350 preheat oven for eighteen minutes. let them cool and if you want to you can put some confectioners sugar on the top.
