I'm 51 and also going through this. It's been terrible, brain fog, moodiness, anxiety, weight gain, hot flashes, depression, time management issues. Now taking anti-anxiety meds which have helped but no hormone replacement because I'm afraid of the health effects. Good luck to you.

I am 54 and most of my symptoms have slowed down except for weight. I can't seem to get the weight thing under control. I still have the occasional hot flash and night sweats but I take Estroven pills for those so they don't bother me that much and I sleep with a ceiling fan running all night. I am so lucky that I have a husband who understands what I am going through. My ex husband never got it when I had PMS (he would say it was all in my head) so I'm glad I'm not with him now because he sure as heck would not be able to handle Menopause.
