Pretty much daily, on Facebook and Twitter, one of my friends will post something. I usually don't comment because my friends' comment will say it all.
I discuss what's going on with my roommate while we are watching TV. We are on the same page about how racist and sexist one of the candidates is (guess which one) and how important it is to be completely informed and literate about the issues. We both believe that each person needs to investigate and read up on each candidate's stance, and not be spoonfed platitudes by a certain candidate that have no root in reality.
I am so glad that someone that is looked up to has decided to do this! I feel that there are too many shallow role models out there in the entertainment industry (and I should know, I work in the entertainment industry!!)
Hi jerseygirl! Yeah, I know that some of this season felt rushed, I think it had to do with them wrapping up the show in March instead of May (like most shows). My guess is that it was a network decision that CBS told the producers. Although if they finished the show in May, there would have been some who complained that they were stretching things out. Anyhow, yes, I really enjoyed this show and I found it satisfying and that it WAS a "cool ending!"
