I am looking to start a healthy diet, so looking for suggestions to start the day on a healthy note.

I joined a site called SparkPeople, and I use a lot of their meal plans and ideas. Here's an example for breakfast: Breakfast FOOD CALORIES CARBS FAT PROTEIN Banana Cinnamon Cream of Wheat with Almonds; Coffee In a small sauce pan over medium high heat mashed banana and milk and water to almost a boil (little bubbles will form around the edges). Add the cinnamon and cream of wheat. Whisk until blended. Reduce heat to low. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes, depending on the type of cream of wheat (fast cooking, etc). Cream of Wheat, regular, cooked with water, without salt, 0.75 cup 90 17 0 3 Banana, fresh, 0.5 large (8" to 8-7/8" long) 61 16 0 1 Milk, nonfat, 1 cup 83 12 0 8 Regular Coffee, brewed from grounds, 1 cup (8 fl oz) 2 0 0 0 Butter, unsalted, 1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) 36 0 4 0 Almonds, 0.13 cup, sliced 71 3 6 3

I've taken to vanilla yogurt, added berry mix, and granola. Very satisfying and doesn't leave you feeling weighted down like those McDs sausage mcmuffin's that I love so much!

When I have eggs, toast and orange for breakfast, I am at my best. I feel like it jump starts my mind and body.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I always try to give my body the best nutrients possible! I love to eat avocado toasts with eggs and fresh fruits! I also recommend eating oatmeal with the milk of your choice, chia seeds, fresh nuts, a bit of almond or peanut butter (the 100% natural ones) and fresh fruits.
Protein pancakes with fresh fruits, eggs and turkey bacon are also a good option!

A veggie scramble and fresh fruit, or oatmeal with fresh berries, or a fruit, vege, and chia smoothie for on the go!
