Hubby & I haven't exchanged gifts for a couple of years & won't this year either. We are building a new house, so we'll have plenty of things we'll want. My grandkids are 15-25; they will get cash, except for the youngest may get a present. Last year I was too overwhelmed to do anything but bake, which is my present to everyone (even fruitcake!).

Gift cards and Yankee candles are always on the top of my list to give and receive. But for my closest family and friends, I like to give something more personal.

Makeup kits are my favorite. Also some gift cards. I love receiving anything like that. I like to purchase gourmet foods as gifts, along with some nice chocolates and holiday decor for the house.

Not to sound Scrooge-y, but I do like getting cash. Not just bc it's cash, but I'm very particular and like supporting indie artists and brands. And that's what I like to give as gifts too!
