We're dreaming of the holidays! Do you have an Elf on the Shelf or a Mensch on the Bench? Where do you get ideas for where to move this little guy at night? What's the best place he has been? We do Elf on the Shelf for my niece. We put all over the house. In the lamps, shoes, food, just anywhere we thing she'll get a kick out.

Some of our most popular places are on the staircase (like she slid down it) Bubble bath in the sink. Hot chocolate cup with marshmallows and straw in the kitchen. Wrapped around a toothbrush But alas they are growing up and it's not so "funny" to them anymore. Now I move it to annoy them LOL

I definitely have a elf on the shelf, it is actually mine from when I was a kid. Now my children love it.

We do have an elf on the shelf! I scour pinterest for new ideas, my friends also provide very good suggestions, and many times the elf has been placed into outfits/costumes or scenarios that relate to events or milestones that our family have experienced within the last year.
