I try to recycle whatever I can. Also, I save my food scraps to give to my son for his worm business, so nothing is wasted.

Whenever I visit the grocery store, I'm always bringing my own reusable bags along with me! Not only are they more environmentally-friendly, but they also make groceries much easier to carry home. Also, I've stopped using plastic straws and now opt for steel straws, as well.
