Recycle every single thing that I can! I collect broken electronics in the basement to bring to the once monthly electronics recycle in my town. I accept plastics at work from all employees and bring them home once a week so they can be recycled since my office building does not allow. I recycle light bulbs, CDs, and even gift cards! My friends all think I'm crazy but I tell them it's THEIR kids' futures I'm doing it for (I am childless by choice).

I use reusable bags when I shop and I quit buying disposable water bottles. I also started recycling my glass, plastic, and cans.

We recycle everything that we can, we turn lights off when we leave a room, use energy efficient appliances and smart lights, plugs and thermostat, only run the washing machine and dryer once a week, only run the dish washer when it's full, we reuse dishes/cups if they aren't really dirty and use paper plates when we can which we recycle as well. I use a hard plastic cup to drink water and tea in and I just rinse it out each night unless it gets really stained and then I'll hand wash it.

My favorite ways to be green are to use a reusable water bottle, bring my own bags to the grocery store and recycle at home.

I recycle like a crazy person - but I've recently made the choice to stop buying plastic. Like, hand soaps I now get a TJMaxx/HomeGoods and I get them in a glass bottle. I just bought powder laundry detergent in a card board box. So much plastic is not really recycled.

I recycle plastic bags, paper, cardboard, aluminum & anything I can send into Terracycle. I compost & try to reuse or upcycle whenever I can. I use reusable water bottles & containers.
