I am inspired by all the women who are finally coming forward to speak out against abuse- it should not be a secret or something they see as shameful. It takes a lot of courage and strength to speak out and I am so grateful people are doing it.

I am inspired by people who display individuality. Women who are modest. Men with manners. Anyone who is not trying to fit into a group or following a trend. I am inspired by brave/generous people who rush to help others when needed.

I have a 98 year old Aunt who joined the Army during WWII. She became a nurse. Later, after the war, she continued her education and became a professor, teaching other nurses. This is a person who didn't have the finances to achieve her dreams, but found ways, to become a nurse and was even determined to become even more, in a time when most woman didn't even consider to work outside their house. This Aunt has inspired me for many years and continues to inspire me to this day.
