the #metoo issues are so huge and pervasive - this needed to happen long ago, but I'm glad this has come to the general public and the outrage that it is caused.

It may sound cliche but my mom inspires me. My mother is a single mother of 4 and although I don't live with her anymore, watching her raise my 3 little brothers and I make me so grateful and want better for myself. I watched my mother push through her struggles and she became an LPN back in 2012, I'm so proud of my mother, everyday she's living her best life and she inspires me and proves to me that women can do anything they set their minds to.

The Women's March and the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. Women have put up with horrible treatment for far too long.

I've made the decision to be more active about supporting fibromyalgia because it affects me and so many people don't believe it is a real disease. We have walks and raise money. I also try to educate people via social media

Now more than ever, I find myself supporting all women who take a stand and voice their opinions and are brave enough to share their stories with the world, no matter how painful it may be. I admire those women who stand up not only for themselves, but for others and are willing to take a chance, own their voice and their stories and aren't ashamed of who they are or what they've been through.
