Oh my...I am passionate about so MUCH, how do I choose just one? I would have to say that right now, my biggest fight is for addiction and homelessness. See, I am a substance abuse counselor and I work in public detox with 48 beds! That's HUGE and working there is crazy and hectic. For the first few years working with this clientelle, I couldn't seem to clock out at 5. My body left work, but my mind was obsessed with finding ways to help my clients see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'll tell you, those clients know how dangerous using heroin has gotten and I'm so proud of them when they manage to stay clean, even for a while. I'm even prouder of the ones who slip[, but keep coming backl to detpox instead of just giving up!

I am inspired to help animals. I have already been an animal lover and think they deserve love and kindness. There are too many instances in which family pets are discarded and end up in shelters or are not cared for properly. I recently started to follow The Asher House journey and it is very inspiring.
