My best advice was when my mom taught me to always try my best at everything I do. It helped me become ambitious, independent and hard working in life and at work.

My mother told me to that it was ok to work a job that I loved, even though it did not pay much. She encouraged me to pursue my education so that I could get a job that I love in the future.

My mom's best words of wisdom to me are to never depend on anyone and to be independent. She has been a great role model with both of those things since she is a single mother going back to school.
