I got my family to start recycling regularly. Now we have a full garbage can worth of recyclables every two weeks! This Earth Day, a community organization I work with has planned a city-wide street clean up, which also includes tidying up the local parks, restoring community statues, and maintaining community gardens.

I recycle every day. I only use my lights when I need them & always shut the light when I leave a room. Conserve water. Never leave it on while I'm brushing my teeth.

We recycle, drink out of reusable water bottles and try to bring our own travel mugs if we go out for coffee.

I always turn off lights, computers, and other electronics whenever they're not in use. No running water while brushing teeth. Lots of recycling!

I'm trying to reduce plastic consumption by buying from bulk bins more, and buying "greener" (generally paraben-free) products. These products are usually packaged in containers that have a high percentage of post-consumer recycled content.
