I recycle everyday, walk as much as I can everywhere, use energy efficient lightbulbs, disconnect devices when they're not in use, use reusable bags for groceries, and take short showers to be more green.

I recycle, reduce and reuse, by taking my papers, magazines and cardboard to our recycle center, I turn the water off when I am washing dishes and brushing my teeth and reuse the rain water to water my plants! Every little bit helps!

This earth day, we're going to be spending some time on our yard, getting our veggie garden ready, setting up our compost pile, and purchasing plants from charity sales in our area. Our goal is to significantly reduce our waste and move towards more home grown and home cooked meals.

We recycle, use cloth napkins instead of paper and use essential oils to clean.

At home, I teach my kids to "never let the water run" - I sort of sing it to them as a reminder. Lights are off when not in use, we recycle and even use old bottles for planting.
