I feel like we don't do enough... but we try our little bit. Recycling, stopped buying bottled water, lots of time spent sitting in the dark (personal preference but also not wasting!). my daughter loves to go through our neighborhood about once a month and pick up all of the litter on the ground

Right now, the most I can do with a one year old is go out of my way to save our recycling and bring it to my mother in law's for pick up - since we don't have any here - instead of throwing it away. But, I've also started saving my coffee grinds to mix into fertilizer for plants and switched to green home cleaners a little over a year ago! I also use power strips to cut electricity, keeps the lights off during the day and just use sunlights from the windows, and I also keep the AC off until my pregnant roommate is home and she gets too hot. I take quick showers, only wash my hair every couple of days, and keep the tap off while brushing my teeth (and am sure to remind my husband when he does, too!) I'm ultra conservative when it comes to utilities; not just because it's good for the environment, but my wallet, too! And when my daughter is older, I'd like to take her on beach cleanups and tree planting events around our town or somewhere else if there's not any nearby.
