If you shop on either of those days, do you go for the sales or for the experience? Which stores are your favorites? If you avoid those days, why? When do you shop instead?

I try to avoid these days, primarily since I shop throughout the year. After working in retail earlier in my life, these days make me shudder.

Neither, it's too stressful out there, if a person is smart they will take advantage of specials, and sales beforehand to help alleviate the stress and crowds

I don't shop on either of these days! I tried going 'black Friday shopping' but it was just way too crazy and crowded for me! I do however shop online on Cyber Monday!

I will check out Black Friday online specials. I will not buy things on Thanksgiving because that should be a day to rest and celebrate for all retail employees. I don't tend to do Black Friday shopping in person because crowds. Online--fine, but only if it is a truly valuable deal. I like that I can take the time to compare prices and think twice before I buy--I don't have enough discretionary income to impulse buy!
