If you shop on either of those days, do you go for the sales or for the experience? Which stores are your favorites? If you avoid those days, why? When do you shop instead?

absolutely! i'll be at the stores Thursday night =) I'm very methodical with my shopping during this time. I only go to the store with the door busters that i actually need (usually walmart and khols and macys)

I have shopped Black Friday in the past. I refuse to shop on Thanksgiving. I haven't seen anything great so far, so not sure if I will be shopping this year or not.

If I were to shop on either of those days, I would do it from home, online, and only after all the family festivities are complete. Since I have never found shopping to be enjoyable as a full contact, competitive sport, I usually shy away from the Black Friday nonsense.

I avoid going to the stores on Black Friday, but will be shopping online. My go-to source for the best deals is http://www.fishingfordeals.com

It's a tradition for me and my husband to go shopping on Black Friday, we love getting up early and spending that time together.

I had 90% of my Christmas shopping done before Halloween. I only have a couple of more things to buy. and I'm done. I hope to have my gifts wrapped before Thanksgiving, then I can really enjoy Christmas. I very rarely ever shop on Black Friday. I shop deals throughout the year to avoid having to shop crowded shopping malls with everyone else. Plus I do a majority of my shopping online, so I may take advantage of some Cyber Monday deals. My sanity is worth more than most of the deals out there.
