Do you shop on Thanksgiving or Black Friday? Comment & win!
on Nov 15, 2016
(Read 164843 times | Comments: 265)
If you shop on either of those days, do you go for the sales or for the experience? Which stores are your favorites? If you avoid those days, why? When do you shop instead?
Everyone who comments will be entered for the chance to win a natural jute shopping tote bag. Giveaway is open through Dec 4, 2016 to U.S. residents at least 18 years of age.

We normally shop on Thanksgiving just because the best deals are started so early. This year will be different, we will do no outside shopping on Thanksgiving Day, we will dedicate it to spending time with friends and family. I may do some online shopping later that evening. We will probably go black Friday shopping early since we won't be doing any on Thanksgiving day this year.

I do not shop on either. I like to separate my holidays and enjoy Thanksgiving weekend with my family before concentrating on Christmas.

I shop on both Thanksgiving & Black Friday- it's a tradition I started with my mother-in-law many years ago, and we love the craziness, the holiday smells and sights, and scooping up amazing deals that we love to give and get! My favorite stores to shop on these days are Kohl's, JCPenneys, Best Buy and Ulta!

I think Thanksgiving day should be reserved for spending time with friends and family, not shopping. That's what Black Friday is for and that's when I go for the deals & the chaos 'cause it's a little fun as long as you don't let the craziness get to you. Which store I go to depends on the sales and special offers. Shopping throughout the year and from cyber monday on can net some good bargains and I'm finished long before Christmas Eve.

I hit the drugstores on Thanksgiving morning, look through the sales papers/deals on Thanksgiving day, and make a list. On Black Friday eve/Black Friday, I shop online for items I noted and can usually find everything the same price as if I would have gone in store.

I already started shopping by winning points in the NY Lottery Players Club and ordering from their shopping mall; from ordering with my Avon lady; taking advantage of some gifts in the Publishers Clearing House envelopes; and avoiding going to physical stores just yet have picked up just the wrapping paper/bows/etc from a dollar store. Remember to gift with the recipients' likes involved while personalization is always a hit as well. Enjoy!
