If you shop on either of those days, do you go for the sales or for the experience? Which stores are your favorites? If you avoid those days, why? When do you shop instead?

The only shopping I do on Black Friday is on our State Park website - I book 1/2 off camping trips for the upcoming year!

I avoid shopping on those days.... except the grocery store. The last two years I did go shopping at the grocery store on Black Friday. Not very busy at all!

If I do shop on these days it is typically online because you still get the same deals as you would in-store and you don't have to fight the crowd.

I avoid the crazy crowds during those busy shopping days! I prefer to be home in pjs and shopping online! :)

I won't shop on thanksgiving because it's a day of thanks and family. Black Friday I have in the past but due to a back injury it will probably be too crowded and painful,to stand on checkout that long.

I am a Black Friday shopper and I refuse to shop on Thanksgiving. My husband works for a major retailer and has to be at work at 4PM on Thursday.
