Must be fairly new, this is the first I am hearing about it. I guess if it keeps them out of trouble it is great

OMG! My daughter and her friends never stop flipping bottles! I agree with other SheSpeakers, it's annoying. They video their "flips", have contests, get in trouble at school for flipping bottles and don't even get me started on the spills. Ridiculous hobby in my opinion.

I've never heard of it but if get gets kids outside away from their electronics then I think it is a good thing.

I may have seen kids doing this and didn't realize what they were doing but I must say how annoying!! Drink your water and stop playing with it. However if it entertains them and they are outdoors away from me...carry on.

I had to read this a few times because I thought I was reading it wrong. Bottle flipping... No, I do not know of anyone who does this, never heard of it before. I could see one of my kids trying this and either accidentally hitting each other or themselves with it, especially if it is full. I personally do not see the thrill behind this, but if it gets kids outside and they are playing with it the right way- let them be kids and play. Just make sure you supply them with plastic and not glass water bottles!

My kids have started doing this and I just don't get the point. It is extremely annoying, especially given how flimsy water bottles are.

I think I saw it on a talk show but I didn't realize it was a thing... I think its fun for the kids - they will move on to something else - at least its not flipping soda bottles. :)
