In recent weeks, the new judge of The Voice has stirred controversy over her decision to stop wearing make-up, saying "I don't want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing."

What do you think - is this ground-breaking, or no big deal? If you wear make-up, would you ever go without?

Not to be rude or anything, but who cares? If thats what she chooses, more power to her. People put too much emphasis on what the celebrities are doing and not doing. Cant people have minds of their own and be leaders and not followers? I personally think its a shame how adult women try to emulate these over paid, under achieving celebrities. Women should be strong and do what they want to do, dress how they want to dress and look how they want to look, NOT try to be something they are not.

I don't think it should be a big deal, but unfortunately in this day and age, it is. Hopefully she is the first of many to start this movement. I quit wearing daily makeup about 10 years ago and only do wear it occasionally. It is time women and girls take pride in who they are and what they look like instead of striving to be like supermodels. It is great that they are beautiful, but we are all beautiful and we need to stand together and support each other and encourage each other.

I think it's a big deal for a celebrity, especially a singer, to go without makeup ALL the time. All celebrities like to occassionally post a #nomakeup selfie to add to the "natural beauty" conversation and trend, but to actually say that she isn't wearing makeup AT ALL is indeed groundbreaking.

I think it's great that she doesn't feel the need to wear makeup. I don't wear makeup and never have. I'm satisfied with the way I look naturally and so should other women.

To me it's no big deal. I've never worn makeup unless to very special rare events. So it's something I already do and don't see why such a fuss was made.

She is beautiful either way and people should wear what they choose. Make up or not.
