In recent weeks, the new judge of The Voice has stirred controversy over her decision to stop wearing make-up, saying "I don't want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing."

What do you think - is this ground-breaking, or no big deal? If you wear make-up, would you ever go without?

I love that she isn't afraid to do this, however, so not a big deal. Millions of women go makeup free daily.

I would say in Hollywood its ground breaking, good for her for doing what makes her feel good, as for me, would i go with out make up? Probably not lol

I wear makeup when i want to...and more often than not i go makeup free...no biggie...don't make a stunt out of it....wot i wanna do is my decision. ...it doesn't get influenced by others n i don't make a big deal bout it

she's beautiful with or without makeup. Not all of us feel pretty enough to go around with nothing but our natural faces on though. I hope seeing her efforts inspires more women to feel beautiful just as they are...including me. Not that brave yet, but maybe one day. :)

Agreed...groundbreaking for celebs, but not average people. Glad she's promoting this though! Who doesn't love a celeb who's just being real?

I too have quit wearing makeup. I support her for how she feels. When I mentioned to my boyfriend, many yrs ago, that it was absolutely too hot to wear makeup, he said don't, I can't really tell any difference and besides, you don't need it anyway! It is 95 plus degrees in Georgia!

I think it's great that she's choosing not to wear make-up. I think it's interesting how make-up used to be frowned upon for "good" women, but now it is almost expected that women wear it. All women should feel free to choose to wear make-up or not, and society should not expect them to wear it (or not wear it).

I support her, I too quit wearing makeup. It's very hot where I live, 95 plus degrees!
