With 8 kids in the house, most of them teenagers, I hear negative things all the time of what they don't like. I made a simple egg sandwich for lunch for my toddler and he took one bite and said "Yummy". It made me so happy that someone appreciated the work that I do for them. That simple egg sandwich put a big smile on my face and made me feel appreciated as a mom. I love all my kids, maybe the teenagers will learn from their little brother.

My baby girl got on her knees and hands today getting ready to crawl. Oh how she is growing so fast, too fast.. I want her to stay my baby forever, but I love to see her grow and learn new things.

My three year old is into singing and dancing and most of the time she makes up her own words. Today, she started singing "You are my best friend, you are my best friend, you are my best friend mommy", while looking at me and touching my face! No clue where she got it from but it was so sweet!

My toddler is learning how to potty...so she gets her chair up on the potty, gets her step stool....proceeds to sit on the potty and says..."Mommy, do the potty dance!" I told her, "You have to potty first!" Those moments are precious!
