A sure way to put a smile on my face, is watching my children interact. Everyday I am amazed by their bond. I have a 7 year old son, and an 11 month old daughter. There is a huge age difference, and I was always concerned that this would be an issue. However, my son just loves his little sister, and she absolutely idolizes him. I love watching him read to her, and today, when he was reading to her before we brought him to school, he made a funny face and gesture when saying one of the words and my daughter burst out laughing. He is the only one who can make her laugh that big belly laugh at the drop of hat. I work so hard to get those precious giggles, and they come so naturally for him. I definitely think that it boosts his self-esteem and confidence as a person, and that makes me happy too.

When I came through the door from work .... my little guy said, "Mommy, you home. Daddy, you home. We all home." I thought it was so cute how he put the sentence together. And,even though it was a daddy day while I had a freelance project to complete, I was smiling because he was glad to have me home. :)

This is for a friend of mine who is now having her fifth child. She has been blessed in many ways, but times are tough for everyone so I am compiling a huge welcome baby basket for her and her little man due the 28th of May. So far I've come along way but my goal in life is to others as much as I can ;) Give without asking for nothing in return, the smile is payback enough
