What is your opinion of fake eyelashes?

Some people think they are too much, and look bad. Some people love lashes and would wear them everyday. When do you wear them? And when you do, are you wearing the natural lashes or dramatic ones?

If I could get them on correctly I would wear them.I have short eyelashes.I love what I look like in fake eyelashes.

i wore them for my daughters wedding and loved them. i just can't seem to put them on myself - makeup artist did for me. i like the ones that look natural, but are longer and fuller than my own lashes....

I have worn them but now I just do extensions. I think the people that don't like them simply don't know how to do them right and then they look fake. I recommend extentions but the other ones look great too when done right.

I am a very simple person when it comes to make-up. I personally think they are too dramatic only because I am not used to wearing them. I have seen plenty women with fake lashes and they can sometimes look awful because they are too intense or not worn correctly. Then again there have been times when I do not know someone is wearing them until they mention them. I think if they are worn natural it is ok , but if you want a dramatic look save it for a dramatic occasion.

I've worn them once or twice as a costume accent and hated them. They made my eyes feel heavy and didn't want to stay on right. Both times I ended up taking them off before the end of the evening.

I personally do not wear fake eyelashs and this is only because I have never actually tried them, but I do not oppose of them. I do think the regular fake eyelashes that are just more full eye lashes do look nice on most people. Also the only time Ive known that the person is wearing them is if they come out and tell me. So overall I think fake eyelashes are fine, it just all depends on your personal style.

My cousin wore fake lashes and I wanted to be just like her so I drove an hour out of the way to get the fake lashes professionally put on, one lash at a time. They drove me crazy, I kept tearing up, some would fall out leaving me with uneven lashes, when they fell out they took my real lashes with them until I had no real lashes left to attach them to. Three years later, my cousin is getting married, as a bridesmaid I was required to get false lashes, but not the individual ones, just two natural pieces.I teared up again, barely made it through the wedding without them falling off, but at least they fell off without taking my eyelashes with them. I don't like them, especially the real long ones to me they look like spiders on the eyes.
