This is my kind of question... ! :) My husband and I, along with some of our close friends love to eat adventurously. We enjoy eating sushi (love!), Thai, French, Indian, Mexican of course, and recently visited an Ethiopian restaurant a couple of times. It was interesting - spicy - and the bread very filling. Most of all we love to try new things and there is always a place in our hear (and bellies) for good old American hamburgers, pizza, grilled/roasted chicken, etc. @Isilver I've never heard of Idli Sambar but will consider it next time I east Indian!

Love Jerk Chicken that I ate on a sailboat tour in the West Indes to the spot where "Gilligan's Island" was filmed.

My favorite ethic summer time food has to be Hawaiian Pig and Rice with Poy...I cannot say enough how much it reminds me of the summer summers in southern california! I am so glad my bestie from Hawaii lives here in Minnesota because I am learning how to make it the traditional way and I get to enjoy it with the mac-salad and for me that is a way to connect and to share a Ohana new family tradition!!
