I love mine too! I'm making it a point to use it once a week. And the slow cooker liners make my clean up a breeze!

I love mine!! GREAT food that taste as if u worked ur tail off in the kitchen. The clean up is easy as pie and even easier if you go buy the liners to put in your cooker before adding your food. Yes mam, I feel like Betty Crocker when I use my slow cooker.. : )

Easy rotisserie chicken. Take several whole potato's and wrap in foil. Place these in the bottom of your slow cooker. Put a whole chicken, seasoned to taste, I like mccormick rotisserie chicken seasoning, or lawrey's season salt, apply liberally, place chicken on the foil packets, so it will not be sitting in its own juices. Set on high for 6 hours!!! This is great and easy and only a couple of ingredients. If you are working you can do it in the morning, place on low for 8 hours and have a nice hot dinner ready when you walk though the door!!

As a busy working mom always on the go, using my crock pot is a huge time saver. I decided to incorporate using my crock pot into my blog as a time saver. Each week I have a post called Make Ahead Monday. I make a new crock pot recipe each week and I get my family involved in helping me review and rate it. They love being involved in this. I also invite my followers to make the same recipe on Monday and comment with their families reviews and rating. It is a lot of fun!

For large crowds I make mashed potatoes ahead of time then keep them warm in my crock pot. Saves me times when I am trying to have everything ready at one time.

I love my crock pot it comes in handy in the winter time. I cook chili, soups, and stews in it at that time. When I want to cook dry beans I use my crock pot, its also a time saver.

I use my crockpot at least 2x a week. It makes the house smell like home in the winter, and it's a lifesaver in hot southern summers. I don't really use recipes, except for inspiration. I usually just use a cheaper cut of beef (slow cooking tenderizes it - an expensive cut just gets crumbly in a crockpot) or pork ribs, or pork loin. I add lots of water, chopped onion, whatever root vegetables I have handy, and in a few hours I either have a pot roast or hearty pork dinner. (In a pinch, I can even pull a piece of meat from the freezer - meat looks better browned first, but, it still makes a great stew.) If I want gravy, I just stir in some cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the cooked down water in the crockpot. The crockpot is also great for cooking beans for burritos, or making a chili. One tip I will offer, though, is that a bay leaf thrown in will make almost everything taste better - gives the meal a "finished" taste, that I associate with packaged or restaurant dinners.
