The summer and early fall is so hot that it is nice to cook in the crock pot and not heat the house with my stove. Plus the crock pot does the work for me while I am at work. : )

I love my crockpot! Right now I have Navy beans cooking on low. They will be soup tonight for supper. Love it for beans but I use it for many things. My favorite is for roast or pulled pork. You can also make a cake. Just look for recipes on the internet and have fun trying new things!

Oh man do I ever!! If I could, I would cook every meal in my slow cooker! Only thing is, I'm gone from the house from 6:30am till almost 6pm and I'm always worried it would burn or turn to mush if I leave food in there that long. But on the weekends it's def my go to. One pot and no dirty dishes? SCORE!

I use mine to make Turkey Meatloaf. I love my slow cooker! I also do turkey meatballs in my nanas homemade spaghetti sauce. Turkey Meatloaf & Baked Potatoes: 2.5 lbs of ground turkey 1 egg 3/4 cup bread crumbs 1 envelope of Lipton Onion soup mix 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce salt, pepper, paprika, garlic salt, Italian seasoning to taste. Wash a few potatoes, prick them with a fork and wrap them in foil. Place them around the meatloaf. Cook for 8-10 hours on low. I've added sliced green peppers and fresh onions to it. I like it just the way it is. No ketchup needed. lol

I use mine to turn out perfect chili every time. Nothing is better then coming home to a home cooked meal. Dinner greets you at the door and that's the best thing about the crockpot!!!

I love my slow cookers also. I actually have 3 slow cookers, all different sizes. If I am having a big group I will use the biggest slow cooker, but for everyday use I will just use the smaller one.. I have found that you can cook just about anything in them. It also saves from heating the house up with the oven.
