I don't know about you, but I could spend hours in the cookbook section of my library or bookstore. These are four of my favorite baking cookbooks: http://www.shespeaks.com/Four-Great-Baking-Cookbooks What are your's?

Well I am partial to Pampered Chef cookbooks, being a pampered chef consultant. I LOVE cookbooks in general, i was once on a mission to make a ULTIMATE cookbook, but I got bored and just stopped. One day I may resume.

My favorite cookbook is mine lol. I made my own cookbook by finding recipes from the internet, magazines & cookbooks.

I collect cookbooks. I could sit and read them for hours like most women read magazines. My favorite brand however, is Taste of Home. They always have something to make everyone in the family happy and asking for it again.

I read cookbooks like a good novel ! I collect cookbooks and especially love the old basic books like grandma made! Taste of Home are good along with many others.I have made at least one recipe from each one. The best finds are the Flea Market and Thrift stores. Hugs

I love to collect cookbooks from churches and local groups. I think you really get more of a "homemade" meal. I find them at thrift stores or tag sales and just love to read through. One of my favorites is from a women's church group in Arizona from the 1940s.

Cookbooks are almost a thing of the past! With that being said, I hunt for cookbooks at thrift stores and I collect them. There is nothing like having your own research at your fingertips. True one can find virtually any recipie online, but there is nothing like curling up with a cookbook and a cup of coffe and visualizing the cooked product. There is something almost romantic about leafing through a cookbook. The internet is cold and not real...that is why it is called a virtual world. Dusting off a cookbook that one has stored away unlocks hidden treasures once the covers are opened.

The Mayo Clinic Cookbook is not only educational, but easy to use and very healthy. The meals are easy to make, and I have yet to make one my husband didn't like (or so he says)! In the front of the cookbook, it discusses the different types of carbs, fats, and various components of foods, so for any health nuts, it's very beneficial. It's also helpful for those who haven't necessarily been informed properly about what foods to eat or ignore.

I like any of Ina Garten's cookbooks. I only own one, but I have definitely checked out others. After that, I couldn't tell you. I have so many that it's sometimes like getting something new because I find one that I didn't remember I have when looking through them! I love cookbooks... could look at them all day if my kids let me!

I live in the midwest. The best cookbooks out there are the church or fundraising cookbooks. All the recipes are tried and tested until perfection. You only get the best recipes because you have to see all those people face to face day in and day out!! If you give a bad recipe you may have an elderly lady come up to you on the street and tell you what a bad cook you are!!
