I was thinking lip gloss, nail polish and tinted or clear mascara. I think black is pretty harsh and the costed are cute for maybe a party or something. Too early I think to start with raccoon 👀!

A light lip color, pastel like eye shadow and a little blush is what I allow my daughter to wear.

My daughter had some issues with uneven skin tone due to puberty (yay!) so we used a concealer and sheer foundation to even her out at that age. Thankfully, she wasn't into all the "must wear heavy makeup for no apparent reason" that kids are today. She carried a chap stick type lip moisturizer. No gloss here. On special occasions she wore a light touch of eye shadow and a hint of mascara. Just enough to make her eyes pop a bit. Other than that, no, make up was a no go until she was 16.

Please teach your daughters to wear makeup right! If you don't they will learn it from someone else! It can be pretty, or pretty ugly! You decide! Do you want your child learning everything from their friends, classmates, neighbors, etc? Teach your children earlyabout more than just makeup! They need to learn real world lessons, money, sex, makeup, hair, tattoos, piercings, cooking, life long lessons!!!

I only started wearing an eyeliner when I was in grade 11 or so. The earlier they start, the more likely their skin will look old faster.

I have a daughter going into six grade and I tell her if I can notice she has makeup on then it's to much. It is supposed to accentuate your features not make you look like a clown.
