Horrible Acne!

My daughter is twelve years old, almost thirteen and she has moderate acne on her t-zone. We are looking for a regimen that actually works. We have tried some Neutrogena products but it made her face really dry and flaky. We also tried Clean & Clear which we used for three months and did not help at all. Any suggestions? I am soon going to try Noxzema products but I need reviews first. Thanks!

Have you tried Proactiv? It is kind of expensive--$45 for 3 month supply for me, but I use it quickly--but it works. I tried prescription oral medication, prescribed topical face washes and creams and only Proactiv has worked. I've been using it for over 4 years.

I never had acne in high school but as soon as I graduated my face broke out horribly! It must have been the stress of college :) anyway, Differin cream was the only thing worked for me and I felt like I tried everything! It cleaned up my acne completely and worked pretty fast too..... but made my face a little dry. So make sue you have a good moisturizer too!

try proactive you can try a month supply for like 20 dollars and if it doesnt work get a full refund. My sister has problems with acne and after 1 month of using that product her face was super clear.

Proactiv works! I think its more about the routine of properly cleaning your face with the products. The products really work.

Also I switched makeup. At her age I'm not sure how much she wears, but I now use bare mineral foundations and makeup, when I made the switch my acne significantly reduced. I do not wear a liquid or mousse foundation.

i am 19 years of age and i have struggled with acne since the age of 10. i have tried every thing from neutrogena clean & clear, proactive, noxzema etc.....but recently i tried loreal new skin genisis deep cleanser. and to moisteriz my skin before going out in the sun i apply biore spf 15 moisterizer lotion and clean and clear black head eraser is good also, so after trying those three products i am no longer insecure about my skin.

I found that Noxema works but it was really harsh on my skin and dried it out pretty bad. I haven't personally tried it but I've heard the new Skin ID works and there's a 100% money back guarantee as well as access to dermatologist support online. I'm hoping to try it soon so we'll see. Also, I LOVE Burt's Beeswax Blemish stick. It's around 9 dollars and I think it works really well with keeping acne small and clearing it quicker.

I loved Proactiv when I was her age. My acne was terrible because of all of the sweat on my face from sports. I just started using the stuff they sell at walmart that is like Proactiv just because my face isnt that bad anymore. Proactiv also helped my scars

I tried every product you can think of, and nothing would do the trick. Pure tea tree oil did magic on my face. In three days, I had almost no acne anymore! It smells funny, but it's worth it!!
