When my dad was deployed overseas he found out he was able to take a quick trip home for Thanksgiving. He flew 23 hours just to be with us for one day, and then flew 23 hours back. He now lives across the country and if I ever need him, he doesn’t hesitate to drop everything and hop on a plane. - Melissa
My grandfather helped me buy my first car when I was 17 and always changed my oil and helped maintain the car for me. I liked spending that time with him and to a 17-year-old with her first car, it meant a lot to me! - Stephanie
My husband, Drew, has been drawing some cartoons of my daughter Franny occasionally - and posts them on the Instagram page he created for her called frannypancakes. She loves seeing the drawings of herself and it's really sweet for me to remember some of our funny moments with her. - Emily

My stepdad has always treated my sister and I like we were his children. My Dad was stern as we grew up but I knew that if he gave me the "I'm disappointed" talkthat I had really messed up. And knowing this was more than enough of a punishment to encourage me to straighten up. I have always valued my Dad's opinion and advice.
My dad has always been there for me., and taking care of when I am sick.
My dad has provided everything I've ever needed for me!
Loaned me money in an emergency to purchase a car.

By being there in every way. Father's are an part of their child's lives. Now that I'm older and my dad has passed, I wish I would have visited more and had more conversation. I love and miss my dad.
By being supportive in whatever I do and teaching me the love of God growing up. Also spending time with me for quality father daughter time.
Supporting me in my worst days and believing in me
My father when to all the school activities and parent conferences while mom was doing conference and school activities with other people children.
My dad taught me how to Polka! He loved to Polka and he to do a father daughter dance with a Polka song when I got married. I was very appreciative of him to take the time to show me how to Polka, and when my wedding came I was ready to Polka with my Dad!
By being my rock and pushing me to better myself everyday.
I've had a rough year and my Dad has been amazingly supportive. We're closer now than we've ever been and I am so grateful.
I miss my dad, who has been gone almost 20 years. He truly showed unconditional love to me and my brother.
