I take them with me when I register the boys for school so they no ahead of time where their class rooms are. Pick out clothes to wear for the week base on the weather. We normally start collecting the basics 1 month before school list comes out. Then teachers list of things she needs for the school year.
Love sharpies! Get the school supply shopping done early! Stock up on the steals like crayons for 50 cents! They are great all year!
My tip is to shop early because if you wait the aisles are normally a mess and the stores may be out of what you need.
My son has a processing disorder so every year I color code his binders, notebooks etc so he will have an easier time when choosing which things go with which class. Once I've done this I feel a bit less anxiety and I hope he feels the same!
I make the children's lunches for the week during the weekend and I place the bread and sandwich meat in a two sided bowl.
I always prep talk. I get them into routine ahead if time. And ENCOURAGE ENCOURAGE ENCOURAGE #BestOfBackToSchool #entry
Pack lunch, backpack and set up clothes the night before.
We buy the basic school supplies for the next year right after school starts so the prices are super low and we get amazing deals!
Get on a schedule, prepare lunches the night before and lay out clothes the night before to save time in the morning.
I make sure we go school shopping a month ahead of time so we won't be last minute panicking if something is out of stock
Packing up backpacks the night before school always keeps us on schedule!!! Great tip to make mornings a little easier & smoother!!
I let my younger grand kids pick out 1 special school item, they really want so on the first day of back to school, there no fuss no not wanting to go to school, they are already to show off their school item they picked out.
Lay everything out so it's ready and easy to find
I am a teacher and mother of two school-age children. In order to make going back to school go smoothly, I get both my children and myself back in a consistent routine. During the summer months, we easily get out of routine- mainly sleeping later than unusual.
My tip is to have the kids lay out their clothes at night before. Also make sure backpack is loaded the night before. Try to get as much done the night before so you don't feel rushed in the morning!
