It’s that time of the year again. Summer vacation is over and the new school year is begining (or has already begun).

Whether you're back-to-school already or still enjoying those last few days of summer, new school supplies are a must!

That’s why we’re here to help you breeze through your shopping list with our:

 Back-to-school supplies must-haves:

  • Elmer’s Disappearing Purple Liquid Glue: Elmer’s new Disappearing Purple Liquid Glue is awesome for kids as it comes out purple but dries clear! (We recommend it for kids of all ages but it’s extra perfect for those who are just learning how to glue!)

  • Elmer’s Re-Stick Glue Stick: Elmer’s Re-Stick Glue Stick is our go-to for making poster presentations and arts and crafts projects, as it is easily adjustable for up to 5 minutes. What parents love the most about it: no mess!

  • Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE Lunch: Pack your child some quick & nutritious lunches minus the mess! These are 100% leak-proof* containers that are perfectly designed for ready-to-go meals and snacks.

*Not applicable to internal compartments created by inserts.

  • Sharpie Clear View Highlighters: This highlighter has a unique see through tip so your child can see exactly what they’re highlighting. This makes studying for that big test a breeze!

  • Sharpie Art Pens: Their fine tip makes for picture-perfect coloring and writing, plus they come in 12 colors!

  • Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens: Now your child can brighten up their notes with these beautiful Gel Pens which dry three times as fast as normal gel pens!

I take them with me when I register the boys for school so they no ahead of time where their class rooms are. Pick out clothes to wear for the week base on the weather. We normally start collecting the basics 1 month before school list comes out. Then teachers list of things she needs for the school year.

My tip is to shop early because if you wait the aisles are normally a mess and the stores may be out of what you need.

My son has a processing disorder so every year I color code his binders, notebooks etc so he will have an easier time when choosing which things go with which class. Once I've done this I feel a bit less anxiety and I hope he feels the same!

I make the children's lunches for the week during the weekend and I place the bread and sandwich meat in a two sided bowl.

I make sure we go school shopping a month ahead of time so we won't be last minute panicking if something is out of stock

I am a teacher and mother of two school-age children. In order to make going back to school go smoothly, I get both my children and myself back in a consistent routine. During the summer months, we easily get out of routine- mainly sleeping later than unusual.

My tip is to have the kids lay out their clothes at night before. Also make sure backpack is loaded the night before. Try to get as much done the night before so you don't feel rushed in the morning!
