My husband and I both retired at the age of 47, we have been retired now for over 7 years. But we have never been able to teach our kids how to handle money properly. They both say that they will have to work until they die. It is so sad. They are in their 30's and in debt. The only debt my husband and I had was a house payment and we paid it off in 7 years. I still use coupons when I shop and even when we go out to dinner, but my kids think coupons are a waste of time. Sometimes I think the hospital gave me the wrong kids. lol I would love to give this book to them, but they probably wouldn't read it.

We ALL want the best for our children. I know for me personally, I want my son to be smarter about things growing up than I was& he already IS in alot of ways. Having a little extra insurance never hurt tho!😁

This is amazing, one day I hope my kids will be money smart; and never have to have loans. I want them to know that owning a credit card when you turn 18 is not a right of passage, it's totally not necessary. That was my spiral down, so speaking from personal experience. :)
