My holiday survival tip: start planning ahead so you don't feel rushed or stressed, use a planner to keep organized. Always communicate with your loved one. Have a glass of wine and relax, remember to ask for help when needed. Don't beat up on yourself if you eat to much tomorrow is another day to continue where you left off.

We all know that stockings can be a very stressful part of Christmas. My sister told me how she hangs all the stockings in the bedroom closet and fills them all year long with the same duplicate items, appropriate per age. It makes everything so much easier. There is a booklet in each stocking that tells what is inside in case a must have is found and you must even out. What a time saver this has been!

My holiday survival tips are to stay away from the negative people and drama. Dont sweat the small things. Through all the stress and details never lose focus of yourself and your heath. You and your heath are the most important. Dont forget the real meaning of the holiday, dont let all the stress ruin the holidays. Something goes wrong make a joke, think of something funny and laugh loud. Oh yeah and a couple glasses of wine a day help lol. Most importantly dont loose your faith or relationship with God. Talk and pray to him daily and he will get you through everything. Love and cherish your loved ones and keep them close to you. You never know what tomorrow will bring

My Holiday Tip is prepare a list of things you need and buy little day by day and prepare meals 1 or 2 days and make sure you let guests know to bring a plate or drinks so that everyone has food to eat.Don't worry about weight so much...you can get back on track after holidays are done.Holidays is about making memories with your love ones and living life and speak up and let others know that you need help if it seems to be overwhelming.Don't try to do everything by yourself.Let family and friends help you.

I try to have the gifts done by Thanksgiving, and my decorations in a place where I can get to them easily. I prep as much beforehand, and make the pies! I have family bring green bean casserole, deviled eggs, rolls etc. so I am only worrying about the turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing!

My best survival tip is ALWAYS cook more food than you think you are going to need cause folks LOVE to eat on the holidays and they always show up at my house lol

Use your prep time to make things in advance that can be frozen. Make use of your crock pots for things like mashed potatoes and stuffings. Include guests in the prep and cooking by making the kitchen an inviting space. Remember that the details that you are focused on are really not all that important to your guests.

My holiday survival tip is to remember to not let the little things get to me. Don't over do it ( health issues) Serve snacks instead of a full meal. It's better to have finger foods as to work yourself down cooking to where you can't enjoy family time. And most importantly, I keep God first!

My holiday tip is to make sure you let all your family and friend that you'll inviting to know at least 2 months in advanced and also to remind them 2 weeks before the gathering. It's really nice to have each person bring their own dish of food so it's less cooking for everyone. If they'll unable to bring it, then let them know they are still welcome, because you would really be happy if they were there.

My tip for any large gathering meal is to share the load.. delegate jobs so that you are not overwhelmed. If everyone pitches in, the work load seems lighter, and you can even enjoy yourself enjoying your company! My house, everyone brings a dish.. we plan it out Carol desserts Dave Lasagna **Because his daughter loves his Lasagna etc etc etc... Personally, I clean up as I go along. Instead of leaving a HUGE bunch of dishes til the end. Everything that hits the sink gets washed and put away. Makes it seem like less of a burden.
