We actually followed a foreign immigrant;'s funeral..oh my! It put us way behind and had guests mingling with mourners...oh my!

i had actually never been to a wedding before getting married and didnt want to spend money on a wedding planner so tried doing it on my own. my big mishap was only hiring the dj for 4 hours. i never realized how long of a process the reception was and by the time were all starting to get dancing and having fun the dj was calling it a night

I was at a friends wedding when it started pouring and we all got soaked! but we made the best out of it

Ohh our wedding day!! Funny how the one day most couples want to go perfect, end up with some of the funniest (not at the time) stories! My husband's Army Chaplin performed our ceremony for us. When it came time for him to announce us by name, he couldn't remember! He stood there in silence until a groomsman leaned over to remind him of our first and last name! Also, I some how forget that we needed a cake topper!! I ended up using the bouquet for the bouquet toss as a cake topper!

I was a Bridesmaid in a friend's wedding at a big Catholic church. After the Priest asked if anyone in the church objected to the marriage, he said "May you speak now or forever hold your peace"........Literally 3 seconds after he said this, he turned to his side and violently threw up!!!!!! He grabbed his handkerchief, blew his nose that sounded like a bull horn and continued the ceremony like NOTHING happened!!!!!!! He was 82 years old at this time and later explained that he took his medication on an empty stomach.

I was at a friend's wedding and the catering truck got a flat tire on the way, so they had NO food for their wedding! To make it worse, they had their wedding at a bar so the only food available was chips and guacamole!

I was at my good friends wedding and she wore one of those beautiful princess type gowns, about 20 minutes before the wedding was supposed to start she had to use the restroom. Neither one of us knew what to do, to not mess up her hair or makeup, so we grabbed a few friends and her mom and went into the bathroom and held her dress up as she went... We laughed so hard at all of us! I had a honeymoon mishap though, where we went on a whale watching boat tour and I didn't know I got seasick... Well I did all down the steps and further! Not pretty!

My husband forgot his shirt to under his tux....and we were getting married on a cruise ship and was just about to sail without it!! The captain and crew were nice enough to delay departure for an hour so that his sister could retrieve it....phew!

I was at a friends wedding and the little ring man dropped the rings and it took forever to find them! Everyone had t make jokes about how he almost got out of it because no rings means no wedding! She was crying and the little boy felt horrible but they found them! Actually they found his right off but hers was lost in the grass pretty good

I had a different color tie made for my corset to match the colors of my wedding. It was really long and when my Maid of Honor finished tying me in just enough so I could breathe...a little, she dropped the rest of it down so it wasn't seen but occasionally I could feel it on my leg. I thought nothing of it until after the ceremony and we were taking all of our photographs and once and a while it would get caught up in my heel. We decided to fix it after introductions. I was married at a mansion and we came down a large set of stairs for the intro's. We were instructed to walk down, face the one photographer for a picture then proceed down the second flight to the reception floor. Right as I hit the first step I knew I was doomed. The corset tie had wrapped completely around my heel this time and down I went. My new husband grabbed me just in time. It made everyone gasp and the pictures came out interesting! On top of it all, I had picked Timber as my song for us to be introduced to!

Our Wedding Mishap was that the limo forgot to go back to the house and pick up my bridesmaids because the men got to the church first and forgot to tell the driver to go get the ladies so I was at the church and so were the groom and groomsmen but no bridesmaids!!!! The ceremony was delayed for 15 minutes but it all turned out in the end and we have been married 16 years!

I had a simple wedding and married on my Aunt's lunch hour from work. We were in my church in December. We ended up with no power--cold and then it snowed. Oh well-----

I went to an outdoor wedding where they had a small dance floor that acted as an ice skating rink once a little alcohol was spilled on it. Hilarious.....I laughed until I cried. All the people drinking couldn't figure out it was their own fault they fell because they were so busy dancing the drinks right out of the cups.
