Well........... On the night of my wedding I was getting my hair done and the hair salon was in a strip mall kinda building and my dad had his office in one of the spots and just as I was getting done we started to smell smoke then we saw smoke so needless to say I and my fiancé had to run down to my dads space and load all of his files and office stuff.......... Needless to say we were about two hours late to our wedding and thanks to a fast fire department the whole building was saved........ But as we had put all of my dads stuff in my car we couldn't take our car to our honeymoon so my dad made my sister let us borrow her car so her car got all the wedding decorations and she was mad as a wet hornet🌹🌹🌹

My wedding was a disaster. I woke up sick but I knew I had to push on. I managed to get to the church so I could start getting ready. I walked down the aisle and in just a few minutes, I was running to the back because I needed to get sick. Immediately afterwards, we got in my Dad's car and was headed to the hospital. While there, I was given medicine to ease my stomach. My photographer had followed us to the hospital, so I do have some unusual pictures from there. Once we finally made it back to the reception, most of my guest were a little intoxicated, but they did have a good time while we were at the hospital. We managed to get the cake cut, and I fed a bite to my groom, but the thought of a bite of cake did not settle well with my stomach. We left and went to a hotel, until we could leave for our honeymoon the next day. Needless to say, I passed out in the bed and my new husband ended up watching "Urban Cowboy" alone on our first night of marriage.

So my mom and dad hadn't seen each other in over 15 years, my sister's wedding was that time. We have a photo of them glaring at each other in her wedding photos!

It was my wedding day 20 years ago, my parents did not approve of who I was marrying, so they decided not to attend! Five minutes before the wedding was to begin, I saw my parents walking towards me in the park where we were having our ceremony! My Dad walked right up and looked me in the eye and asked is it ok if I give you away? I was ecstatic and so surprised! Best day of my life!

I decided to switch wedding dresses at the last minute and didn't have time to get it altered. It was a bit to long but I thought it would be fine when I added my shoes. WRONG! I was walking and got caught up in the dress and tripped. When I fell it ripped my dress at the waistline. I was so embarrassed standing there with part of a dress on. I guess is a good thing I had pretty under garments on.

A few mishaps happened leading up to our wedding. First I was closing our sliding glass door and some how my engagement ring got smashed in it. The jeweler was able to get it fixed on time. My husband to be scratched the inside of his eye and had to wear an eyepatch a few days before the wedding. Luckily I didn't have to marry a pirate that day. And finally like a week and a half before our wedding my husband to be went to get his hair cut and the lady butchered his hair. He was so mad! He waited for it to grow out a bit and got it fixed right before the wedding. Our special day went off without a hitch after all of that bad luck.

I was at a friend's wedding and her sister went into Labour 3 weeks early. Her water broke during the exchanging of wedding vows.

I was a bridesmaid at my uncles wedding, and when we were getting ready to head to the church, the brides mom dropped the grooms WHITE tuxedo in the mud!! Needless to say we were a little late for the wedding, and the groom doesn't know that happened to this day! LOL

On our wedding night My husband lost his wedding ring cleaning off the car windows so he could see to drive, so we spent our wedding night looking thru grass in the dark to find his ring(not my choice) finally at day break after 6 hours of searching he decided we could quit looking and by then I decided I no longer wanted to be married to him

The night of my wedding rehearsal, i tripped over my flip-flop and fell through a plate glass window. I called 911 and it took 2 hours for the ambulance to get to me. Finally made it to the hospital and had to get stitches in my arm below the wrist. Needless to say, I had to add gloves to my wedding dress but everything turned out alright. still very happily married.

I got married at the courthouse... although I do have kind of a funny story, we went out to lunch prior to and I spilled food all down the front of my dress, we didn't have a ton of time before our courthouse appt, so we went to Walmart really quick and I bought a whole new outfit (which was just awful by the way), plus it was windy that day and I forgot a hairtie so my hair was a MESS. I looked like hell, but my husband married me anyway. lol. Then we came home and watched a movie. Our "reception" party is actually this coming Saturday, so we'll see if there is any sort of surprise there.

I think that the best worst thing that has happened at a wedding I have attended would be the fight over the flowers.. I have not seen to many weddings to see bloopers and I pray that my wedding in Oct goes smooth

I attended an outdoor bbq wedding and one of my dad's friends started throwing butter mints at me then it moved to pretzels and chips then it some how turned into wedding cake. We eneded up starting a food fight. The bride and groom even joined it and loved it. It was the most fun I have ever had at a wedding.
