Be patient and understanding
Don't take all the advice out there as gold and try not to get stressed out about being "perfect" - you will figure things out and find a rhythm that works for you and your baby.
Enjoy the time. Don't rush. Babies are only little once.
I think it has. Its more exciting to share the news and u can reach more ppl. You also get wonderful ideas on how to announce and always so many great tips such as this blog post. I would always recommend to nap while baby naps. While prego put ur ft up and stay calm. Accept that their will be bad days but its all worth it it the end
As a father and husband to a pregnant wife i would rub her poor swollen feet everynight no matter how tired i was. I knew it would relax her and i cant help in many weighs to relieve all the discomfort she is in. Expect rub her feet make sure her pillows are fluffy and ask her what she needs and make sure to do it
Enjoy every moment because it goes so fast!!
Just know that the advice all those grandmothers give you is true! It does go so fast, even though.it may not feel like it. So do your best to dwell in the moment once that baby gets here. Feeding times, walks with the strollers, reading books to your baby....you will always treasure those sweet times!

Don't be afraid to admit you need help especially if you find yourself with the baby blues.
Stay in the moment when you're with them. Some day they'll be grown and you'll miss the time when your little one would crawl up on your lap or hand you coloring pages. Enjoy it.
Sleep when the baby sleeps, no matter how much things you need to do, forget about it, nap or sleep when your baby sleeps :)
Be consistent so it doesn't confuse them or make them try to push your limits!
Being a mother will be one of the most challenging experiences you will face, but it is also so rewarding and enriching. Just do the best you can and trust your motherly instincts.
Hey Emil, congratulations first, the advise i can give to you is that, dont think you are alone, always reach out to your siblings, my sister definitely did, so that she could get sometime to herself.:)
I think sharing the news that I was pregnant with my son 3 years ago was easier thanks to social media ,instead of making a million phone calls I just posted something on Facebook so my friends and acquaintances found out.I posted pictures during my pregnancy and after my son was born on a regular basis so friends and families here in the states and abroad were able to see his progress. Social media didn't exist I would not be able to do that so it's definitely a plus
