Cruise

"Anything that gets my family out in the woods is one of our top choices for spring travel. Camping, hiking, kayaking, and paddle-boarding in the North Georgia mountains are all great ways to get back to nature and spend quality time with teens. "A classic vacation that will please both adults and children this spring break is Niagara Falls. The Canadian side does require a passport for those traveling from the U.S. It boasts amazing falls' views, a wide variety of very reasonable hotels, and proximity to all the amazing Niagara Falls experiences. Beach

"Why we love St. Simon's Island: It’s a community, not just a vacation destination. We love to ride bikes on the hard packed sand beach, play corn hole while waiting for our chicken swiss at Brogens, enjoy the best fried shrimp anywhere at Crab Trap, and hang out on the St. Simon’s Island Pier crabbing or seeing what the fisherman bring in. We went to a funeral for my father in law in Montana. We drove there. It was beautiful the scenery, but wish it was under happier circumstances.

We are on a serious budget right now, so a family vacation is probably not going to happen. But if we did win I would keep it simple, I would like to go visit my daughter at college, SIU. Pick her up and drive the whole family to Memphis to hang out for the weekend.

Dream? A yacht in Monte Carlo. Reality? Planting flowers; enjoying the naked winter trees getting back their greenery; walking along the magnificent ocean; feeding the birds; breathing deep and wishing for that yacht in Monte Carlo lol.

This spring, I was really looking forward to seeing the Pop! exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Last week, my husband took a day off from work while the kids were in school so the 2 of us could have a much needed outing (alone) together. What a great time! If you're in the Philly area, I highly suggest checking it out. If you're visiting Philly - make sure you go to the art museum! It's amazing :)
